Ikayh, signed to Hiltz Entertainment releases his debut project “The life of Ikayh”. A body of work consisting songs that reflects his heartfelt emotions and beautifully laced with the dexterity of amazing producers; Bond, Dwill, Spiritual herbalist and Segun Aniyi.

Alcohol has well known intoxicating effects, the same way some women do, Ikayh sings about this as he uses the simile on the intro track ‘Alcohol’. Over an impressive backlit trumpet and drums percussion combo.

‘Buga’ in this context, ikayh uses to refer to his infatuation with a girl, whom in particular downplays him.

‘Mercy’ has an infectious feel to the chorus, as he sings about being overwhelmed with affection for a lady.

Societal pressures for success could be unnerving and disorienting, Ikayh sings about taking things one at a time, despite the battling uncertainty on ‘Toxic’.

Started from the bottom, now we are here. “who God don bless, nobody fit test”, Ikayh attributes his growth and progress to God, while reminiscing on his hard times on ‘Nobody’.
